deframer

Get started

Quickstart

deframer turns a published Framer site into a Next.js app you run and host yourself. You use it from the terminal.

  1. Install the CLI

You need Node.js 24 or later.

    npm install -g @deframer/cli
  2. Log in

Your browser opens. Check the code matches your terminal, then approve.

    deframer login
  3. Choose a plan

Pick Personal or Commercial on your account page. See Plans and billing.

  4. Export a site

Give the address of the published site and a new folder for the app.

    deframer create https://your-site.framer.website ./my-site

deframer builds the app, starts it at http://127.0.0.1:3000 and compares it with the published site.

What you get

  • A Next.js app in the folder you named, with the pages of your site.
  • A production build, already running on your computer.
  • A report comparing your app with the published site.

The app is yours. It runs and deploys without deframer, even if you stop paying. Read Export a site for every step and option.
