Terms of use
Last updated 11 October 2026
deframer (deframer.dev) is operated by Vandyx. By signing in or using deframer you agree to these terms. Questions: [email protected].
What deframer does
deframer turns a published Framer site into a Next.js project that you can host yourself. It reads the public, published version of the site, the same pages any visitor's browser receives. It never logs in to Framer and never reads Framer projects, unpublished pages or anyone's account data.
Only export sites you own or are allowed to move
You may only use deframer on a site that:
- you own, or
- you have the owner's permission to export and host elsewhere, for example as the agency or developer working for them.
You are responsible for having the rights to everything in the site you export, including its text, images, fonts and any template or component it uses. Exporting a site does not give you any rights you did not already have.
Ownership check
Before deframer exports a site for the first time, you prove you control it: you add a code that is unique to your account and that site to the site's settings in Framer and publish it. deframer checks the published site for the code and only then exports it. Passing this check shows you can edit the site; it does not replace the permission described above.
What is not allowed
- Exporting a site you do not own and are not allowed to move.
- Copying another person's design, content, template or components without the right to do so.
- Getting around the ownership check, plan limits or rate limits, or helping someone else do so.
- Sharing, reselling or renting out your account or access to deframer.
- Using deframer in a way that breaks the law or harms deframer or other people's sites.
How we enforce this
Every export is tied to a signed-in account and recorded with the site's address and the time. If we find or are told that an account broke these terms, we may refuse its exports, block the account (also when it is on a paid plan) and delete its builds. Paid plans are not refunded when an account is blocked for breaking these terms.
Report a site exported without permission
If you own a site and believe someone exported it with deframer without your permission, email [email protected] with the site's address. We review every report, and when it is confirmed we block the account that exported it and delete its builds.
Your account
You sign in with Google. You are responsible for what is done with your account and with the devices you log the deframer command line tool in on; you can log a device out from your account page at any time.
Plans and payments
The preview of your landing page is free. Lifetime is sold through Polar, our merchant of record, which handles the payment and any sales tax. It is paid once and gives you exports and re-syncs of every site you own, and the features we add later, for as long as deframer exists (if we ever close deframer, we will tell you first; the projects you exported stay yours). You can ask for a full refund within 30 days of buying, for any reason. Plans bought before Lifetime keep the terms they were sold with. Details are in Plans and billing.
Cookies and usage data
To understand how deframer is used and to improve it, we record visits and what is done on the site, including recordings of sessions with every field you type into hidden. Cookies for this are only set if you accept them; if you reject them, visits are counted without cookies. This data is handled for us by an analytics processor and is never sold.
Your site and your code
You keep every right you have in your site and in the project deframer gives you. Built projects are kept on our server for 24 hours so you can download them, then deleted. Previews are kept on your account and shown only to you.
No guarantee
deframer is provided as it is. We work to make every export faithful, but we do not guarantee that an export is complete or free of errors, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses from using it.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; if a change matters for how you use deframer, we will say so on the site before it applies.
